The staff at the Office of Global Opportunities (OGO) is here to facilitate global programs for Ohio University students. We advise students, manage US-based, international and virtual experiences, and plan on-campus events. Above all, the OGO staff is here for you and works to ensure that you have the best global experience as possible!
Schedule an Advising Appointment
OGO offers in-person and virtual appointments via Microsoft Teams (you can join a Teams meeting anytime, from any device, whether or not you have a Teams account). We are also able to schedule phone appointments.
Drop in-Advising is available throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, Monday-Friday 1-5pm in Baker 417.

Study Abroad/Away Financial Aid Drop in Hours:
In partnership with OGO, the Office of Financial Aid and Student Scholarships offers walk-in hours for study abroad/away financial aid advising. Students should bring their program budget (either a student budget worksheet or Alternative Budget Form) along with any questions they may have.
- Tuesdays 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM and Thursdays 8 AM - 11:30 AM.
- Starting April 1st, 2024:
- Study Away Walk-in hours will change to Monday mornings from 8am-12pm and Wednesday afternoons from 1pm-5pm.
