These courses will help you to be prepared to be a Red Cross disaster responder.  But more than that, these learning opportunities will help you understand the mission of the Red Cross and how our Disaster Cycle Services team carries out this mission with compassion and skill.  As you participate in these classes and learning opportunities, you are doing your part to help communities become more resilient.  Please choose as many classes as you would like. April 22-23rd, Wednesday 9-5p.m. and Thursday 11-5p.m.
Start as a trainee and finish as a responder, this series of classes teaches you the basics of how to respond to a fire or other disaster. The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the Mass Care activities of Sheltering, Feeding, Distribution of Emergency Supplies, and Reunification.

The purpose of this course is to prepare participants for the tasks and responsibilities in setting up, operating and supporting Bulk Distribution on a local response and disaster relief operation.
