Program Summary

VT Connector service provides employment transportation to residents of the Fox Cities. VT Connector is designed to supplement Valley Transit’s bus service by providing trips when the rider lives or works outside of Valley Transit’s regular bus route locations or when transportation is needed before or after normal operating hours of the bus. The service is provided by a contractor using vans.

Ride Options & Fares

With VT Connector, you will use the regular Valley Transit routes as your primary source of transportation where and when available. VT Connector will connect you to points outside the normal bus route (VT Connector Zone). Your Connector trip can work three different ways:

  1. Traveling INTO the VT Connector Zone
  • Valley Transit bus service will take you to the bus transfer point closest to your final destination and VT Connector will transport you the rest of the way.
  • For each one-way trip, you will pay the applicable bus fare, and $4.00 on VT Connector. Exact fare is required. Drivers cannot provide change.
  1. Traveling FROM the VT Connector Zone
  • Transportation will be provided by VT Connector to your nearest Valley Transit bus transfer point. Valley Transit bus service will then take you to your final destination.
  • For each one-way trip, you will pay the applicable bus fare, and $4.00 on VT Connector. Exact fare is required. Drivers cannot provide change.
  1. Traveling WITHIN the VT Connector Zone
  • VT Connector will transport you from your specified pick-up point to your final destination. Your trip will not involve use of Valley Transit’s bus service.
  • For each one-way trip, you will pay $6.00 on VT Connector, which will take you from origin to destination. Exact fare is required. Drivers cannot provide change.

Other Service Notes

Bus service must be used during Valley Transit’s normal operating hours. VT Connector service will be provided from your pick-up location to your final destination for eligible trips during Valley Transit’s non-operating hours.

If bus service is used, the rider pays according to Valley Transit’s normal fare policy. See Bus Fares & Passes for more details.
