Gift Card Bank is a philanthropic initiative started by a team of Stanford students and social entrepreneurs out of a response to the COVID-19 crisis.
We began by humbly asking friends to donate gift cards, which we would in turn distribute to local nonprofits that had direct relationships with families in need. With endless energy to make a difference and a steadfast belief in the importance of choice, Gift Card Bank has evolved and rapidly grown to become a national organization working with the country’s largest retailers and thousands of nonprofit partners.
We’re proud to have come a long way in a short while, and we’re just getting started.
