CEO Wellbeing Fund

How the fund works

Managed by our non-profit partner, the Planeterra Foundation, the fund will help CEOs all across the world receive the resources they need to financially support themselves and their families whenever it’s needed most. Whether they need help due to an accident, tragedy, natural disaster, or other exceptionally difficult circumstances, this fund helps make that possible.

Along with the local communities we visit, our CEOs (Chief Experience Officers is our name for our tour guides) are what make our tours the life-changing experiences that they are. And while we’ve always informally set funds aside to support them in times of need, the world’s ongoing situation with COVID-19 — and the incredible number of past travellers asking how they can support our CEOs — gave us the pause we needed to establish a more official, long-term commitment.

That commitment is the CEO Wellbeing Fund.

The CEO Wellbeing Fund was established and seeded by G Adventures and our founder, Bruce Poon Tip, but we know many of our past travellers and other members of our community are interested in supporting our CEOs as well. If you’d like to support them, you can make a direct donation through the form below, which our founder will personally match dollar-for-dollar up to a maximum of $50,000^CAD.

You can also donate to the Planeterra Emergency Relief Fund, which is working to support local communities that normally rely on tourism to thrive. Planeterra will direct your donations to the communities most in need of assistance.
