Ensemble Connect Up Close

Axon
Monday, March 18, 2024 7:30 PM Resnick Education Wing
Ensemble Connect by Fadi Kheir
Ensemble Connect’s series of “exquisite chamber performances” (I Care If You Listen) returns with a new Up Close concert, in which a visionary artistic partner works with the ensemble to create an experimental, cross-disciplinary concert experience. Tonight’s program—curated by Pulitzer Prize winner, Kennedy Center Honors recipient, and 2023–2024 Carnegie Hall Debs Composer’s Chair Tania León—gives audiences an expansive panoramic view of what is happening in today’s sound world. Works include León's own electroacoustic composition Axon, Carnegie Hall–commissioned works by Natalie Brown and Nathalie Joachim, and selections by two of today’s most celebrated composers: Viet Cuong and Paquito D’Rivera.

Each ticket includes a voucher for a free drink.
