Men’s Track Athlete of the Week: Eduardo Herrera, Gr., Colorado (Madera, Calif.)

  • Won the men's 1,500m by eight seconds at the Colorado Invitational with a time of 3:44.46.
  • With altitude conversion, his mark translates to 3:39.11, which leads the West and is fourth nationally.

Women’s Track Athlete of the Week: Ezinne Abba, Sr., California (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.)

  • Won the 200m at the home Brutus Hamilton Invitational with a PR of 22.99, the second-fastest in program history and the fastest at standard elevation.
  • Part of the Golden Bears' 4x100m relay, which ran 44.25 to break an 18-year-old school record.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week: Mykolas Alekna, Fr., California (Vilnius, Lithuania)

  • Threw the discus 213-2 (64.97m) on his first attempt to win by more than 13 feet at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational.
  • The second-best throw in the NCAA this season behind his 218-10 (66.70m) at the Aztec Invitational in late March, which is the No. 3 mark in the world this year.

Women’s Field Athlete of the Week: Camryn Rogers, Sr., California (Richmond, British Columbia)

  • Set an Edwards Stadium and Brutus Hamilton Invitational record in winning the hammer throw with a toss of 245-5 (74.80m). 
  • Her season-best mark leads the NCAA by more than 11 feet and is No. 2 in the world.
  • Her third consecutive meet surpassing 74 meters, something no other woman in NCAA history has done more than twice.
