After nearly 18 hours, the tracks are clear and traffic is finally moving again in Boonville.
Railroad cars that jumped the tracks last night and caused some major problems getting in and out of town Tuesday.
It happened around 9:30 Monday night..
A group of railroad cars jumped the tracks on Highway 62 in Warrick County.
It caused a mess at the intersection of Essix road.
Many Boonville business owners saw few customers after last night’s derailment. The train cars blocked the main entrance into Boonville leaving many drivers confused, and businesses waiting for customers and workers who had trouble making their way into town. 
“Looks like everybody’s slow all the way through town here, so its had a big impact financially on everybody,” said local resident Terry Floyd.
Though Boonville did not see much business throughout the day the train cars have been moved and traffic is now moving.
