EDUCATE YOUR EAR, LISTEN TO JAZZ 〰️

The Pappy Martin Legacy Jazz Collective and Burchfield Penney Art Center celebrated the birthday of the annual John Coltrane jazz festival September 28 – 30, 2023! Headliner Ravi Coltrane accompanied by the Curtis Lundy Trio made last year extra special along with many other meaningful performances.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE DARRELL GREEN ENSEMBLE!

“Innovative master drummer”, Darrell Green brought out a packed house for our special Black History Month’s edition of the Celestial Jazz Wellness Series. From heartwrenching “Final Call” composition to moving rendition of “Lift ‘Evry Voice and Sing” and other highly lauded covers, the Darrell Green ensemble blessed our city. Thank you for being with us!

The Love Supreme School of Music students performed before a sold out audience for its 2023 Winter Recital! We are so proud of each one of the students for their musicianship, showmanship and outstanding performance held at the Northland Workforce Training Center. Special thanks to our dedicated music teachers and parents for their commitment and support!
