Introduction
The year of 2020 will certainly be remembered as one of the most challenging for the HR profession, as employers faced the COVID-19 pandemic, a severe recession, and widespread social justice protests. Seemingly overnight, employers had to re-think many aspects of their relationship with their workers. It is clear that HR professionals will continue to face many of the issues raised this year, even after 2020 draws to a close.
