Our mission is simple:  Help homeowners feel safe and comfortable at home, save on energy costs, and enjoy an award-winning customer experience - from a smooth sales process to a fast and efficient installation.

The short answer: 2009.

The longer (more interesting) answer:

Our founder Amanda Godward left a career as a mechanical engineer in the auto industry to start Ecotelligent Homes back in 2009.

She wanted to combine the rigor and systems-thinking that she learned as an engineer with her passion for environmental stewardship.

That's why, from the start, building science and energy audits have been at the core of what we offer. We want to get to the root cause of comfort concerns and other issues, so that we can actually improve your home, not just slap on some insulation or tweak your heating system.

It’s also important to us that you understand how your home works and why we recommend what we do. Here at Ecotelligent Homes, it’s always, “Let me show you why” instead of “Take my word for it.”
