CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in five meets, just missing the top-20 mark in the GLVC Championships with 21st place…finished 195th in the NCAA II Midwest Region Championships…crossed the finish line in 243rd in his first appearance in the NCAA II National Championships...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Scored finishes in five meets in the mile, 3,000 meters, and distance medley relay…led the Eagles in a first-place finish in the distance medley relay in the GLVC Indoor Championships, earning first-team All-GLVC and All-Region…placed ninth in the mile and 20th in the 3,000 meters in the GLVC Indoor Championships.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Won the 1,500 meters and the only 800 meters race he competed in at the Margaret Simmons Invite…competed in six meets, placing seventh in the 1,500 meters in the GLVC Outdoor Championships...named Academic All-GLVC.
2020-21
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in all of USI's races, finishing fifth at the GLVC Triangular before posting a 36th-place finish at the GLVC Championships...toed the starting line at the GLVC East Divisional, but was unable to register a finish...was USI's No. 2 finisher at the GLVC Triangular.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Was USI's top performer in the mile during the indoor season, breaking his older brother, Javan's, freshman record in the event with his season-best time of 4:11.66 at the Samford Open...registered a pair of first-place finishes in the mile...also appeared in the 3,000 meters as well as the distance medley relay.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Broke USI's freshman record in the 1,500 meters with NCAA II provisional qualifying time of 3:48.80 at the GVSU Extra Weekend...was the Eagles' top finisher in the 1,500 meters before posting an eighth-place finish in the finals of the event at the GLVC Championships...made one appearance in the 5,000 meters and two appearances in the 800 meters.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Henry County High School where he was a two-time Foot Locker Cross Country national finalist as well as a two-time Tennessee state champion...was a combined 11-time All-State honoree, earning All-State and All-Region accolades on the cross country course as well as three All-State honors in outdoor track & field...garnered four All-State nods in indoor track...won the TSSAA Large School Cross Country title as a senior in 2019 after capturing the state championship in the 3,200 meters at the 2019 TSSAA Large School Track & Field Championships during his junior year...finished his prep career by winning the two-mile run for the second consecutive season at the 2020 Tennessee State Indoor Championships...was one of the top competitors in the nation as a senior, ranking fifth in the nation among 2020 graduates in the 5k (14:29.32), sixth in the 3,200 meters (8:57.17) and 11th in the mile (4:12.26).

Is the younger brother of USI All-Americans Javan Winders and TItus Winders as well as the brother-in-law to Hope (Jones) Winders.
