Biography

2023: Named CSC Academic All-District...earned OVC co-Player of the Year, becoming the first-ever USI Softball player to win the award...earned first-team All-OVC honors, joining teammate Josie Newman as the first-ever USI Softball players to earn All-OVC accolades...started all 44 games for USI, primarily as designated player...batted .412 with a team-best 56 hits in 136 at-bats...posted a 1.134 OPS...slugged seven home runs and 16 doubles...tallied 40 RBI and scored 13 runs...was second in the OVC in batting average, doubles and RBI...paced the league in conference play with a .442 batting average and 30 RBIs...made seven appearances and six starts early in the season in the pitching circle, posting a 6.89 ERA with 14 strikeouts in 20.1 innings of work...accumulated 14 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games...had a season-best 11-game hitting streak and on-base streak between March 5-25...her first home run of the season came in USI's conference-opening win at Morehead State on March 11...went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate in late March against Southeast Missouri State...had USI's only two-home run game of the season in USI's win at Tennessee State on April 23, recording a career-high five RBIs...hit a clutch, game-tying two-run home run in USI's largest comeback win of the season on May 6 against Tennessee Tech...earned OVC All-Tournament honors after hitting .500 with a home run and three RBI in USI's three games at the OVC Tournament...her home run and three RBIs came in USI's first-ever OVC Tournament win against Tennessee State on May 10...finished her USI career inside the top 10 in USI's all-time history with 19 career home runs...she also surpassed 100 career RBIs in 2023, placing her inside the top 12 all-time in USI Softball history...ended her USI career with a .367 batting average, which is tied for sixth all-time...also finished tied for eighth in USI history with 37 career doubles...named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
2022: Earned second-team All-Midwest Region honors from both the D2CCA and the NFCA…also was a unanimous first-team All-GLVC selection as a utility pitcher…garnered Academic All-GLVC accolades after playing in 49 games and making 44 starts during her third year in a USI uniform…went 16-4 with a 2.03 ERA, .238 opponent batting average and 96 strikeouts in 30 appearances and 144 2/3 innings of work…went 5-2 during the post-season, earning a complete-game shutout during USI’s GLVC Tournament win over Indianapolis…posted a season-high eight strikeouts in USI’s game one win over William Jewell…hit .350 at the plate with six doubles, a triple, eight home runs and 37 RBI…also drew 16 walks, finishing the year with a .420 on-base percentage and .610 slugging percentage…also had three sacrifice flies and three sac bunts…had an eight-game hitting streak in late April-early May that saw her hit .524 with two home runs, six runs scored and seven RBI...had a season-high two home runs to go along with a season-high tying three hits and four RBI in USI’s NCAA II Tournament win over Lindenwood…also drive in four runs in USI’s game-one win over Truman and went 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBI in USI’s win over Shorter…drove in four runs in USI’s game-one win over Rockhurst.

2021: Earned Academic All-District IV and Academic All-GLVC laurels...played through injury to appear in 21 games, making 17 starts inside the circle during her sophomore campaign...went 8-8 with a 2.58 ERA, .228 opponent batting average and a team-high 83 strikeouts in 108.1 innings of work...finished eighth in the GLVC in opponent batting average and tied for 14th in the GLVC in ERA...offensively, played in 35 games, making 34 starts...hit .333 with 10 doubles, a home run, three home runs and 20 RBI...tied for 10th in the GLVC in doubles and was 19th in slugging percentage (.553)...finished third on the team with 10 multi-hit games, including a season-high three hits in two contests...drove in two or more runs in five games, including a season-high three RBI in three contests...had a season-high nine-game hitting streak in April that saw her hit .414 (12-29) with four doubles, two home runs and eight RBI.

2020: Made a big impact on the Eagles during her first year of collegiate softball, both at the plate and in the circle, en route to earning Academic All-GLVC honors...was second on the team with a .358 batting average to go along with five doubles, a home run and 10 RBI...had a season-high seven-game hitting streak that saw her go 13-of-26 (.500) at the plate with four doubles, six RBI and five runs scored...went 4-0 with a 2.47 ERA and .261 opponent batting average in eight appearances and five starts inside the circle...had one complete-game shutout...racked up a season-high 10 strikeouts in that complete-game shutout, giving up just five hits in USI's 6-0 win over Le Moyne.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mater Dei High School in Evansville, Indiana, where she earned letters in basketball and softball...earned first-team All-State honors as a senior in 2019 after hitting .443 with six doubles, two triples, five home runs and 27 RBIs...posted a 1.82 ERA with 123 strikeouts and 104 innings in 2019...also was first-team All-State as a junior in 2018 after hitting .438 with four doubles, eight home runs and 29 RBIs...finished her prep career with a .427 batting average, 21 doubles, three triples, 21 home runs and 88 RBIs...also was 18-11 with a 2.20 ERA and 235 strikeouts in 50 career appearances inside the pitcher's circle...was a four-time All-City and three-time All-Conference honoree...helped MDHS to a state championship during her freshman year in 2016.

TRAVEL: Participated in the USA Junior Olympic Cup with Indiana Fusion Elite.


PERSONAL: Daughter of Benjamin and Julia Goodin...sister, Emily, pitches for Indiana University.
