CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in five meets, finishing 33rd in the GLVC Championships…finished 71st in the NCAA II Midwest Region Championships…made his first NCAA II National Championship appearance where he finished 232nd.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Competed in the mile, 3,000 meters, and 5,000 meters in four meets…won the 3,000 meters race in the Gerry England Invitational with a time of 8:39.97…finished ninth in both the 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters in the GLVC Indoor Championships.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Participated in five meets, running in the 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters, and 10,000 meters races…finished 11th in the 10,000 meters in the GLVC Outdoor Championships.
2020-21
CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in two meets, finishing as USI's No. 6 runner in both meets...finished 18th at the GLVC East Divisional and 20th at the GLVC Championships.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Did not compete.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Participated in the 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters...finished 13th in the 5,000 meters at the GLVC Championships.
2019-20
CROSS COUNTRY: Collected Academic All-GLVC honors after running in four meets, finishing 43rd at the GLVC Championships.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Named Academic All-GLVC after competing in five meets for USI in both the 3,000 and 5,000 meters...finished 12th at the GLVC Championships in the 5,000 meters.
2018-19
CROSS COUNTRY: Earned Academic All-GLVC after finishing 62nd at the GLVC Championships...ran in four meets, finishing in the top seven once in his first year of competition.
INDOOR TRACK: Finished 22nd at the GLVC Championships in the 5,000 meters...competed in five meets in the mile, 3,000 meters, and 5,000 meters.
OUTDOOR TRACK: Finished 12th at the GLVC Outdoor Championships in the 10,000 meters, while also competing in the 5,000 meters throughout the season...earned Academic All-GLVC.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Huntsville High School where he finished fourth at the Alabama High School Athletic Association 7A State Cross Country Championships as a senior in 2017...was 29th at the 2016 state meet...finished third in the 3,200 meters at the 2018 AHSAA Indoor State Championships before posting respective finishes of 11th and 14th in the 3,200 meters and 1,600 meters at the 2018 AHSAA 7A Outdoor State Championships...overall, Cox was a 10-time state qualifier in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.
