Biography

2021: Appeared in four games and made his first start for the Eagles...posted a 6.75 ERA in 5.1 innings of work, striking out five.  

2020: Named Academic All-GLVC...did not appear during shortened season due to COVID-19.
 
2019: Appeared in seven games out of the bullpen, posting a 8.25 ERA in 12 innings of work...struck out a career-best 12 batters, including a career high five versus Kentucky Wesleyan College.

2018: Made three appearances out of the bullpen, throwing three scoreless innings...struck out his first collegiate batter in the win over Grand Valley State University.

2017: Did not appear in a game as a redshirt freshman. 

2016: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Tri-sport letterwinner -- baseball, basketball, and football -- at Carbondale Community High School (Carbondale, Illinois)...CHS Pitcher of the Year as a senior, while also being named second-team All-South Seven Conference as a junior and senior...posted a 4-4 mark and struck out 60 in 2015..earned the CHS rebounding award in basketball as a junior and senior.

PERSONAL: Son of Mark and Kimberly Kelly...graduated from USI with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management in 2020.
