Biography

2022: Played in 11 matches for the Eagles. Scoring two goals including one in the win over St. Thomas. Finished his career with 58 games played, making 22 starts. Scoring four goals and recording 15 assists.

2021: Ranked third on the team in scoring and first on the team in assists...had 12 points in 16 matches and 14 starts on one goal and 10 assists...assisted on the game-winning goals versus Lewis University. 

2020-21: Played in all 14 matches during the spring, making five starts...finished the season with seven points on one goal and a team-high five assists...assisted on the game-winning goal versus Lindenwood University.

2019: Named Academic All-GLVC...appeared in 17 of 19 matches, starting three matches...made his USI debut in the tie with McKendree University. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time All-State selection, district Player of the Year, Owensboro Times Player of the Year, and United Soccer Coaches All-America selection...finished his career at Daviess County High School (Owensboro, Kentucky) as the all-time leader in career goals (74), assists (56), and single-season goals (36), and led the Panthers to the 2016 State title.

PERSONAL: Son of Joe and Lisa Winkler...brother of USI defender Joseph Winkler.
