Greg Zullo became Sacred Heart University's Associate Athletics Director, Operations in July of 2023. He had been promoted to assistant director in January of 2022.
He is responsible for the management of the department's internal operations, which includes team travel and meals, coordinating facility scheduling and game contracts, and oversight of home game day operations. Zullo also serves as the sport administrator for four teams: men's and women's fencing, men's soccer and baseball.
Zullo came to SHU from Yale University, where he was the director of rentals and events. He oversaw all aspects of facility rentals for the Bulldogs' 25 venues. He served as the event manager for the 2018 and 2019 NCAA men's lacrosse tournament contests at Yale as well as the 2018 Ivy League baseball championship and the 2019 Ivy League men's and women's basketball tournaments.
He got his start at Yale in 2017 as an athletic operations assistant, acting as the event manager for over 50 games per season. In addition, Zullo assisted with coordinating the travel for Yale's 35 varsity teams.
Zullo earned a bachelor's degree from Southern Connecticut State in 2017 and added a master's at SCSU two years later. He was a member of the Owls' baseball team, earning All-Region and All-Conference honors as well as a spot on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
