About this event

In October this year WRAP’s landmark clothing agreement, the Sustainable Clothing Action Plan (SCAP), comes to an end. October 2021 also marks ‘six months-on’ from the launch of Textiles 2030.

To mark both these occasions, WRAP is holding Textiles Action Week from 18-22 October to celebrate successes so far and to highlight what needs to happen next in the textiles industry – to transform it for the sustainability of the planet.

During Textiles Action Week, WRAP is holding a webinar hosted by Baroness Young of Hornsey and featuring experts from the industry. The session will explore:

  • The power of collaboration and action to make ground-breaking change
  • SCAP 2020 results and the key to its success
  • Textiles 2030 progress
  • New Insights on what is needed to halve the carbon impact of new products and reduce their water footprint by 30%
  • Highlights from signatories on why they have joined the commitment

This webinar is open to all individuals and organisations interested in, or working in the fashion and textiles industry – both in the UK and globally.
