SDG 4 Benchmarks
The Education 2030 Framework for Action called on countries to establish intermediate benchmarks for indicators in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development representing their voluntary contribution to the global effort in achieving SDG 4 by the year 2030.
The UNESCO Institute for Statistics and the Global Education Monitoring Report jointly manage the benchmark process and release the SDG 4 Scorecard report annually to reflect countries’ progress towards their national SDG 4 benchmarks.
The Global Education Observatory presents the benchmark values that countries aim to achieve by 2025 and 2030 for the following seven indicators.
Early childhood education
