2022-23: Played in 14 games, averaging 5.1 minutes played per game in her sophomore season...averaged 1.6 points per game...played a season-high 12 minutes in a 90-48 win on December 21 against Brescia (Ky.)...had a career-best nine points in five minutes played against Tennessee Tech on February 9.

2021-22: Played in five games, averaging 4.6 minutes played per game during her first year of collegiate basketball…averaged 1.4 points per game…played in a season-high eight minutes during USI’s wins over McKendree and Quincy.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Linton-Stockton High School where she was a two-time Small School First-Team All-State award winner as well as a four-time SWIAC honoree...playing for former USI Men's Basketball player Jared Rehmel, Burgess paired up with fellow USI class and teammate Vanessa Shafford for back-to-back IHSAA Class 2A championship teams as a junior and senior...finished her career with 1,392 career points, 314 assists, 274 rebounds and 187 steals (steal totals don't include senior year)...entering her final year at LSHS, Burgess had made 126 career three-pointers, connecting on 37 percent of her opportunities from downtown and 74 percent of her free throw attempts...she finished her four years in a Miner uniform with 474 career field goals.
