Biography

OVERALL: Ended her career at USI as one of the greatest, being the fourth Eagle to etch her name in the top five in three categories in the record book…stands second in aces (214) and kills (1,676) along with being fourth in digs (1,440) all time…also ranks 17th in block assists (210) and 18th in total blocks (237.0) all time at USI...became the 15th player to reach the 1,000-kill plateau and 13th player to reach the 1,000-dig mark while becoming the fifth player in program history to reach both milestones.

2023: Received the second-most votes to earn first-team All-OVC accolades after posting the third most kills and second most points in the conference…nabbed three OVC Offensive Player of the Week awards…played in a career-high 119 sets and 31 matches, starting in all…recorded a career-high 3.74 kills per set mark along with an impressive 2.81 digs per set margin in her final season…secured 13 double-doubles with 27 double-digit kill nights and 14 double-digit dig performances…had a career-high 526.5 points, 445 kills, 334 digs, and 59 blocks to close out her senior campaign…posted a season-high 24 kills against Lindenwood and 25 digs against UT Martin...named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

2022: Collected second-team All-OVC honors for the first time in program history along with College Sports Communicators Academic All-District accolades…was named to the Chattanooga Classic All-Tournament Team…played a historic season for USI by becoming the 15th player in program history to reach the 1,000-kill plateau and 13th player to reach the 1,000-dig plateau while becoming the fifth player in program history to reach both milestones…played and started in all 29 matches while earning time in 107 sets…led the team with 347 kills, 316 digs, and 403.5 points, securing the top-10 within the conference in all three categories…also earned a team-high 28 service aces…secured 20 double-digit kill performances and 17 double-digit dig matches…recorded a team-high 14 double-doubles…nabbed a career-high 26 kills against Little Rock...named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2021: Collected first-team All-GLVC honors for the second straight season as well as Academic All-GLVC accolades for the third time after averaging 2.59 kills and 2.80 digs per set...accumulated 301 kills and 325 digs during her third season in a USI uniform...was named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week (10/4)...had a season-high 23 kills and 26 digs in USI's five-set win over Missouri-St. Louis (10/2)...reached double-figure kill totals 14 times and double-figure dig totals 15 times...had eight double-doubles...led the GLVC with 0.58 aces per set...had a season-high eight aces in USI's three-set home win over Illinois Springfield...given the Council of President's Academic Excellence Award.

2020-21: Earned first-team All-GLVC and Academic All-GLVC honors after playing in all of USI's 21 matches and 74 of the Eagles 76 sets...started all of USI's 21 matches, averaging 3.36 kills, 2.61 digs, 0.54 blocks, 4.23 points and a GLVC-best 0.59 aces per set...finished 19th in the nation in aces per set and led all of Division II with her 44 total aces...was fifth in the GLVC and eighth, nationally, with her 249 total kills...named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week as well as the AVCA Division II Player of the Week after averaging 5.67 kills, 3.00 digs, 0.50 blocks, 0.50 aces and 6.42 points per set in the Eagles' three-set sweeps of Lindenwood and then-No. 6 Rockhurst...also hit a blistering .446 on the weekend...the AVCA weekly award marked the third time in program history a USI Volleyball player has collected the honor...reached double-figure kill totals in 15 matches, including the final seven of the season, and had at least 10 digs eight times...racked up seven double-doubles...had a season-high 18 kills and 17 digs in USI's five-set, come-from-behind road win over No. 1 Lewis...recorded a season-high .455 attacking percentage (17k-2e-33ta) in USI's three-set home win over Lindenwood...recorded four-or-more aces seven times, including a season-high five aces in USI's three-set home win over Illinois Springfield as well as the Eagles' four-set win over Truman State.

2019: Earned Academic All-GLVC honors after playing in all 30 matches and all but three sets...led the Screaming Eagles with 334 kills and 386 points (10th in GLVC), the most by a USI freshman in over a decade...recorded season-high in kills (19) and first collegiate double-double (14 digs) in USI debut against Winona State University (Sept. 6)...collected eight double-doubles...posted season-high six blocks along with a 17-kill, 11-dig double-double effort against the University of Indianapolis (Oct. 25)...led USI with 28 service aces...led the Eagles with a 14-kill, 18-dig double-double to knock off No. 8 Lewis University (Nov. 1)...came in second among the Eagles with 272 digs on the season, posting the season-high output of 18 against Lewis.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Bloomington High School in Illinois, where she earned three varsity letters in volleyball, was named second-team All-Area as a junior year and to the Tiger Classic All-Tournament team her senior year...also was a three-time conference Scholar Athlete and a member of the Bloomington High School marching band.

CLUB VOLLEYBALL: Played for the Illini Elite...member of the 2015 squad that finished third in AAU Nationals...earned victories at the 2018 President's Day tournament and 2017 Milwaukee Jamboree...named to the 2018 President's Day all-tournament team.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Thomas and Shara Anderson.
