Biography

2023: Became USI's first student athlete to be named Division I first-team CSC Academic All-American...named second-team All-OVC and preseason All-OVC during 2023...started all 55 games as a senior, playing five of the nine positions (catcher, first base, second base, right field, and left field)...batted .310 with 44 runs scored, 44 RBIs, 11 doubles, two triples, and five home runs....had a team-best 12-game hitting streak and 18 multi-hit games...tied with a team-best 12 multi-RBI games...posted a career-best four hits three times in 2023...posted a season-high four RBIs in the season opener with Western Illinois University...finished his career with a .307 batting average, tying for 13th all-time at USI with 212 hits...also ranked fifth in home runs (25), fifth in RBIs (170), sixth in doubles (51), and tied for 14th in runs scored (142)...named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

2022: Started all 49 games, batting .321 with a team-high 57 RBIs, eight home runs, and 16 doubles...also had 36 runs scored...saw action at catcher, third base, second base, and left field during 2022...tied a career-high three hits in a game six times...posted a career-best six RBIs versus Young Harris University...currently tied for sixth in home runs, 13th in RBIs, and 14th in doubles all-time at USI...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.

2021: Named Academic All-GLVC...played in 18 games and made 17 starts despite missing six weeks with an injury...batted .183 with four doubles, a home run, and 10 RBIs...had a season-high three RBIs versus Lake Erie College in the season's opening series...saw action as a catcher, first baseman, third baseman, and outfielder during 2021...moved into the USI record book, ranking 20th in home runs (12).

2020: Named Academic All-GLVC...played in, and started, all 14 games before the season's suspension, splitting time as the team's catcher and on the corners...led the Eagles in hits (16), RBI (13), doubles (6) and home runs (2)...walked-off Trevecca Nazarene University in the second of a three-game series...collected eventual game-winning double in the 10-inning victory over University of Illinois Springfield.

2019: Named GLVC Freshman of the Year after hitting .341 with a team-best 46 RBIs...appeared in 48 games, starting 46...tied for second on the team with nine home runs...had a team-high 18 multi-hit games, including a season-high three hits in a game eight times...had the third best hitting streak on the team during 2019 (10)...led the team with 16 multi-RBI games, including a season-best five versus Drury University twice...stole a season-high two bases versus Drury and had nine during the season...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball and basketball at William W. Borden High School (Borden, Indiana)...named All-State in 2018 and a finalist for the 2017 News-Tribune Player of the Year...also named All-Area by the News-Tribune in 2018 and three times by the Courier-Journal (2016-18)...scored 53 runs and was a perfect 26-for-26 on stolen bases as a senior, while posting a 0.66 ERA and nine wins in 2018...helped Borden to sectional titles in 2015 and 2018.
