Biography

2024: Named OVC Pitcher of the Year...earned All-OVC First-Team honors...a two-time OVC Pitcher of the Week...named to OVC's Preseason Players to Watch List...led the USI pitching staff with a 22-10 mark and a 1.77 ERA...set new career marks with 22 wins, 230 innings pitched, 230 strikeouts, and 30 complete games...230 innings of work were five innings shy of USI's single-season record...started 32 games in 33 appearances...tossed five shutouts...held the opposition to a .194 batting average...led the OVC in wins, innings, and strikeouts as well as ranking top three in ERA...struck out 10 or more batters in 11 games...collected 15 strikeouts in a win against Sacred Heart at The Spring Games on March 3...earned OVC Pitcher of the Week on March 25 after striking a combined 21 hitters in two wins at Lindenwood, including one nine-inning outing...named OVC Pitcher of the Week for a second time on April 7 after totaling 31 strikeouts in two wins at UT Martin, starting the series by matching a career-best 17 strikeouts before a 14-strikeout performance in the series finale...pitched every inning of USI's 16-inning contest at SIUE on April 20, striking out 13 batters...also had a strong season at the plate with 31 hits in 90 at-bats for a .344 batting average...recorded seven runs, one home run, and 11 RBIs...had nine multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games...went 3-3 against Western Michigan on March 2...posted three RBIs in a win against Tennessee Tech at the OVC Tournament on May 9...registered three hits and two RBIs against Eastern Illinois at the OVC Tournament on May 10...named to the OVC All-Tournament Team after picking up three wins and totaling 34.1 innings with 20 strikeouts in four starts and five total appearances in the pitching circle in addition to her performance offensively...finished the season top 10 in USI history with 535 innings pitched, 60 complete games, 17 shutouts, and 55 wins...ended the season third in USI history with 560 career strikeouts.

2023: Earned first-team All-OVC honors, joining teammate Allie Goodin as the first-ever USI Softball players to earn All-OVC accolades...a three-time OVC Pitcher of the Week...named to OVC's Preseason Players to Watch List...led the USI pitching rotation with a 16-11 record, 2.53 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and 145 strikeouts in 160.1 innings pitched...tossed 18 complete games and six shutouts...appeared 29 games, making 24 starts...also recorded one save...held opposing hitters to a .219 batting average...finished the regular season tied for first in the OVC in wins and complete games, alone in first in strikeouts and shutouts, and second in innings pitched and opposing batting average...in OVC play, her 10 OVC wins were first in the league along with her 95.1 innings pitched, 83 strikeouts, 14 starts, and 13 complete games...three OVC shutouts tied for first in conference-only action...had three starts with 10 or more strikeouts...threw two one-hitters which came in USI's win against Samford on February 24, striking out 10 in the process, and in the victory against Creighton at The Spring Games on March 7...struck out a season-high 12 batters in a win against Holy Cross at The Spring Games on March 4...her dominant stretch at The Spring Games included a 4-0 record, four complete games, 31 strikeouts in 28 innings pitched, and two starts with nine strikeouts, which led to her first of three OVC Pitcher of the Week awards...also struck out 10 in USI's victory against OVC-foe UT Martin on April 1...went 10 innings in the start against SIU Edwardsville on April 15...ended the season with 12 career shutouts and 33 career wins, sitting just outside the top eight in program history for both...finished the season seventh all-time in USI history with 330 career strikeouts.

2022: A Schutt Sports/NFCA Division II Freshman of the Year finalist, second-team All-GLVC, and second-team All-Region voted by D2CCA after posting an astonishing 17-3 record in the circle during her freshman season…ranked first in the GLVC and 14th nationally with 4 saves…stands third in the conference and 29th in the nation with a team-leading 185 strikeouts…appeared in 31 games, ranking her third in the GLVC and top-100 in the nation while starting in 21 games, 11th most in the conference…threw 12 complete games while holding her opponents’ batting average to a measly .171 in 144 2/3 innings pitched…went 3-0 with two saves, allowing just 17 hits and five runs in 26 2/3 innings pitched in postseason play…secured a season-high 17 strikeouts in USI’s win versus Quincy University…threw a five-inning no hitter in the run-ruled win over Southwest Baptist…hit .143 at the plate while tallying six hits, four RBI, and five runs in 42 at-bats…earned Academic All-GLVC laurels.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis where she has earned letters in softball and volleyball during her prep career...earned IHSAA Class 3A/4A first-team All-State honors from the ICGSA after posting a 19-2 record in the circle with a 1.28 ERA and 209 strikeouts during her senior year in 2021...issued just 12 walks in 120.1 innings of work and 24 appearances during her senior season...earned muliple All-County and All-Conference honors throughout her tenure at FCHS after hitting a career .340 with 40 runs, eight doubles, three home runs, three triples and 29 RBI...hit .362 with 23 runs scored, six doubles, two triples and 14 RBI in 2021.
