Rokiškis Manor House (the Regional Museum) was built in 1801 in the style of Classicism under the project of an unknown architect. In 1905, the central building was rebuilt according to the project of architects K. Janovskis and P. Lilpopas and acquired Baroque elements. Since 1952 the Rokiškis Regional Museum has been a part of the manor house with over 100 thousand exhibits.

In the museum you can get acquainted with the expositions in operation: the culture and history of Rokiškis manor, the history of Rokiškis region from the earliest times. Exclusive place is the exposition of unique wood carvings created by Lionginas Šepka (1907-1985). In the Rokiškis Regional Museum you will see the only Bethlehem exposition in Lithuania. It is made of about 100 Nativity sets. Here you can find art exhibitions, plenaries, classical music concerts, literary evenings. In 2011, the Rokiškis Manor House was recognized as the most attractive tourist destination in Lithuania.
