Captain Sir Tom Moore has done deeds for this country that will go down in our nation's history. Without a doubt, he will be remembered for many years to come by all. The astounding money he raised for our National Health Service was a true and pure act of generosity and kindness and an act that brought us all hope in a time of sorrow and darkness.

In light of today's news, 2nd February 2021, I believe there is a way in which we can commemorate Captain Tom to a high degree: putting him on the British banknote. Through this, we will honour him for generations to come whilst commending him into this country's history. He raised millions of pounds for the NHS and it would be only appropriate to remember him in this way.

Captain Tom epitomised goodwill through his actions throughout his whole life and I know this act of putting him onto a banknote would honour everything he did for the UK.
