Why this petition matters

Started by Andrew davies

We are initiating this petition in Honour of Captain Sir Tom Moore and all the work he has done in raising approx £32 million pounds for the NHS. Sir Tom Moore raised this money by walking around his garden and completed 100 circuits/laps of his garden and thus raising that fantastic amount.
We want to make the government and the nhs to rename a local hospital in honour of him for the stirling work he has done in raising peoples morale during this difficult time.

He has many achievements in his life from protecting and fighting for us during World war 2, being knighted for his services, to raising the funds, being made honorary Colonel of his old regiment and actually winning an award on the BBC sports personality of the year.

Many a person will relate to the wonderful life and his wonderful personality has had on the whole of the UK. We need to honour him in this way.

He inspired many to walk, run and to do weird and wonderful things to raise money.

”Tomorrow will be a better day than today”

Miss you Sir Tom

Rest in Peace Sir Tom Moore 1920-2021
