USA Shooting invites you to an exclusive Junior Olympic Development Camp. Shotgun competitors between the ages of 12 and 20 have an incredible opportunity to hone their skills with instruction from current and former USA Shooting Olympians and National Team members.

The camps are held at Hillsdale College’s John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center, a premier facility featuring International/Olympic bunker and skeet installations.

Hillsdale College USA shooting Olympic Camps

All-inclusive camps include:

  • Transportation to and from Detroit Metropolitan Airport provided by Hillsdale College shuttle service
  • Housing on the Hillsdale College campus (includes bed linens, blankets, pillows, towels, soap, and shampoo)
  • All meals
  • Local transportation between the main campus and the Halter Center
  • Small group coaching
  • Clay targets and ammunition, but you must bring your own firearm(s)
  • Evening activities on the Hillsdale College campus, including a presentation(s) on Constitutional education from Hillsdale faculty

About the Camps

Camp Schedule:

(Schedule pertains to both camps and is subject to change)
Day 1, June 19
  • Morning — Shuttle service from Detroit Metropolitan Airport to Hillsdale College will be available to 8 p.m. Eastern.
    Flight arrivals of 3 p.m. Eastern or earlier are suggested if campers would like to arrive at Hillsdale College in time for that evening’s camp activities.
Day 2, June 20
  • Morning — Breakfast at student union; Range safety and Halter Center overview; shooter evaluations
  • Afternoon — Lunch; individual and small group coaching with an Olympic shooter
  • Evening — Dinner on campus; Constitution presentation
Day 3, June 21
  • Morning — Breakfast; individual and small group coaching with an Olympic shooter
  • Afternoon — Lunch; individual and small group coaching with an Olympic shooter
  • Evening — Dinner on campus; sport physiology session with USA Shooting trainers
Day 4, June 22
  • Morning — Breakfast; individual and small group coaching with an Olympic shooter
  • Afternoon — Lunch; individual and small group coaching or shooting competition
  • Evening — Dinner; activities on campus
Day 5, June 23
  • Morning — Breakfast; individual and small group coaching with an Olympic shooter
  • Afternoon — Lunch; individual and small group coaching or shooting competition
  • Evening — Dinner; activities on campus
Day 6, June 24
  • Morning — Breakfast
  • Campers Depart - shuttles return to Detroit Metro Airport.
        If possible, please book flight departures for 10 a.m. Eastern time or later.
