The Science-Backed Benefits of NooGandha®

NooGandha is backed by multiple human clinical trials
conducted at well-known U.S. universities.

Research Conducted at Texas A&M University

Specnova recently conducted four studies showing the efficacy and safety of NooGandha. Performed at Texas A&M University, these studies showed that NooGandha provides improved perceptions of fatigue, anxiety and sadness as well as improved cognitive performance in word and picture recall, reaction time and focus! This research has been presented and submitted for publication. Details of those studies are below.

Mood support

A randomized double-blind study found that 225 mg daily of NooGandha improved perceptions of fatigue, anxiety, and sadness, reducing:

  • Tension
  • Confusion
  • Anger
  • Fatigue

Background: Ashwagandha has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine as an adaptogen to reduce stress, improve memory and cognitive function, and improve exercise performance. We recently reported that acute ingestion of ashwagandha (400 mg) improved selected measures of executive function, helped sustain attention, and increased short-term/working memory. The purpose of this study was to determine if 30 days of liposomal ashwagandha (as NooGandha) supplementation improves markers of health and/or cognitive function in healthy adults.
Conclusions: Results indicate that liposomal ashwagandha (as NooGandha) supplementation improved perceptions of fatigue, and feelings of anxiety, sadness, ready-to-fight and resentfulness.

Cognitive function over time

Two randomized double-blind studies found that 225 mg daily of NooGandha can improve cognitive performance over time with improvements in:

  • Word recall and recognition
  • Picture recall
  • Reaction time
  • Focus
  • Digit vigilance (rapid visual tracking and accurate selection of stimuli)

The purpose of this study was to determine if 30 days of liposomal ashwagandha (as NooGandha) supplementation improves markers of health and/or cognitive function in healthy adults.
Conclusions: Results revealed evidence that liposomal ashwagandha (as NooGandha) supplementation improved markers of cognitive function, memory, and reaction time particularly after day 30 of supplementation.

Safety of NooGandha®

A double-blind, placebo-controlled study found 225 mg daily of NooGandha was well tolerated by healthy individuals. No significant changes were observed in blood counts, clinical markers, and side effect frequency.

Conclusions: Dietary supplement with 225 mg of liposomal ashwagandha (as NooGandha) was not associated with clinically significant changes in cell blood counts, serum clinical markers, or reported frequency or severity of side effects. These findings suggest that ashwagandha supplementation was well tolerated in healthy individuals.
