Wagon Train: The St. Nicholas Story

WAGON TRAIN
The St. Nicholas Story

Needed: One Christmas Miracle

Major Seth Adams has gotten into a Christmas pickle—with deadly consequences.

On their trek west, Major Seth Adams halts the wagon train in a verdant valley for a few days to rest, graze the livestock, and celebrate Christmas. The settlers are immigrants from Germany, Ireland, and Italy, and they look forward to sharing their traditions. But the holiday joy is short-lived. That night, a Ute war party attacks the travelers. The fight is fierce, and each side suffers casualties and fatalities.

Though the Christmas spirit has dampened, Adams decides to stay put and go ahead with the holiday festivities—even though he grudgingly promised a dying man he would fill his Santa boots and play jolly St. Nick for the kids. Meanwhile, in the confusion after the battle, young Jimmy Sherman wanders out of camp and into the wilderness. At the same time, the Ute Chief’s son has gone missing. Will the children bring peace on this tense Christmas Eve?
