MEET THE ARTIST INTERVIEWS

San Francisco Ballet’s Meet the Artist pre-performance talks are back in the Opera House for the 2024 Repertory Season! Join us before select Friday evening and Sunday matinee performance for an informative talk featuring artists and choreographers in conversation with a moderator. There will be no Meet the Artist interviews for Mere Mortals or Encore A.

Meet the Artist interviews take place in the orchestra level one hour before the performance starts. Open seating is in the orchestra level, but a performance ticket for that date is required to enter the Opera House to attend Meet the Artist interviews.

PROGRAM 2 – BRITISH ICONS

February 9 at 7 pm – Britton Day, pianist for Marguerite and Armand, San Francisco Ballet Orchestra Company Pianist

February 11 at 1 pm – Edward Watson, répétiteur for Song of the Earth

SWAN LAKE

February 23 at 7 pm – Principal Dancer Sasha De Sola

February 25 at 1 pm – Principal Dancer Joseph Walsh

March 1 at 7 pm – Principal Dancer Frances Chung

March 3 at 1 pm – Principal Dancer Nikisha Fogo

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

March 15 at 7 pm – Principal Dancer Jennifer Stahl

March 17 at 1 pm – Music Director & Principal Conductor Martin West with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra (No podcast will be available.)

March 22 at 7 pm – Soloist Cavan Conley

PROGRAM 5 – NEXT@90 CURTAIN CALL

April 5 at 7 pm – Principal Dancer Wei Wang

April 7 at 1 pm – Rehearsal Director and former Principal Dancer Tina LeBlanc

PROGRAM 6 – DOS MUJERES

April 12 at 7 pm – Textile Artist Maria Guzmán Capron, designer of the Dos Mujeres scenic curtain

April 14 at 1 pm – Principal Dancer Esteban Hernández

Note: There will be no Meet the Artist interviews for Program 7 – Mere Mortals Encore A.
